Are you tired of receiving the same general platitudes when you seek guidance?
You know the empty encouragement that I'm talking about.
The times when your inner circle says stuff like:
"You'll figure it out!"
"Your boss is so unreasonable!"
"Your employees have no idea how hard your job is!"
"You tried your best, and that's all that matters!"
You know why your closest confidants offer these well intentioned but ineffective reassurances, right?
Because they want to make you feel good about yourself and better about your situation.
They want to keep you feeling comfortable.
As your coach, I will ask you the direct, thought-provoking questions that no one else will.
You will be gently pushed outside your comfort zone to a place where you can experience true growth.
My style is a unique combination of curiosity, directness, positivity, and empathy.
Think of me as a sounding board, trusted guide, and accountability partner who can help open your mind to new perspectives and solutions.
My most successful clients are those who are hungry for change and willing to do the hard work that drives results in their personal and professional lives.
If you're ready to step outside your comfort zone to unlock the best version of yourself, then we should talk.

Can you tell me more about your coaching philosophy and approach?
At the heart of my coaching philosophy is the belief that individuals achieve their greatest insights, strategies, and breakthroughs when they're empowered to find their own solutions.
That's why my coaching style is primarily inquiry-based, designed to help my clients explore their challenges, strengths, and opportunities from different perspectives.
Of course, as someone with nearly two decades of leadership experience in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors, I will occasionally offer direct advice and feedback when it's warranted. But even then, I always aim to empower my clients to chart their own course.
Another crucial role that I play as coach is that of accountability partner. Once a client commits to a course of action, I regularly check-in on progress toward milestones and help troubleshoot any obstacles that are in the way.

Is your coaching only for the C-suite?
Nope. I believe that coaching is a powerful tool that can benefit anyone, and I am enthusiastic to work with current and future leaders at all levels.
What industries do you specialize in?
I work with leaders in all fields, including for-profit, nonprofit, healthcare, academia, government, and beyond. I can help you regardless of your industry because coaching is not about providing industry specific advice. Rather, I focus on you, the individual.
The strategies and outcomes that we will work on together—e.g., increasing self-awareness, overcoming insecurities and limiting beliefs, managing one's emotions to make better decisions—are applicable in any setting.

Are coaching conversations kept confidential?
As a professional coach, I abide by the International Coach Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics, which sets high standards for integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. All conversations and information shared during coaching sessions will be kept strictly confidential unless otherwise agreed to.
Do I need to worry about feeling judged if I work with you?
Rest assured that you can feel safe and free from judgment during our discussions. I've made plenty of mistakes and faced challenges just like anyone else, so I understand what it's like to struggle. I'm here to help you overcome obstacles and reach your personal version of success, not to judge you.

Joe has been one of the first people I turn to for support since founding a high-growth technology company five years ago. Startup life is a rollercoaster of highs and lows, and Joe is always able to ask powerful questions that help me see things from a new perspective and enable me to be more successful both personally and professionally. Plus, he's one of the most thoughtful and trustworthy people that I know. If you're looking for an executive coach, you won't find a better one than Joe Ehrlich.

Joe has, for many years, been a trusted sounding board and my first call when faced with a critical decision, either professional or personal. He is an active listener and astute observer, with the ability to discern the most important aspects of any situation. Joe draws on his years of experience to deliver constructive feedback and observations, which has made all the difference for me as I have advanced my career.

When I have a conversation with Joe, it's almost always a meaningful conversation. That means a lot to me in a world of constant distraction. Joe listens and thinks before he responds, and he has a unique way of positioning his feedback that leads me to my own solutions. For example, I recently asked Joe for his thoughts on a specific point related to leading my team remotely. Most people would jump straight to giving advice, but Joe didn't take the bait. Instead, he asked me a clarifying question that led me to an answer that was authentic to my leadership style. This newly gained clarity was helpful and increased my confidence as a leader. I am pleased to report that our team is growing, morale is high, and we are being more creative than ever before in addressing our challenges.
