About Joe Ehrlich

My Story

During the first 15 years of my career, I held leadership positions at some of the biggest names in finance, real estate, and consulting. I found the work engaging, yet something unexpected and transformative happened along the way: As time went on, I found greater fulfillment in supporting others than I did from typical corporate accomplishments. Successfully mentoring and coaching colleagues gave me far greater joy than winning new business or closing a deal. In short, I realized that helping others achieve personal and professional growth is my true passion.

Empowered by this realization, I left the corporate world and for the next three years dedicated myself to leading a nonprofit organization solely focused on youth mentorship. This work affirmed my love of helping others reach their full potential, but I missed partnering with talented individuals beyond the nonprofit community. Now, as an Executive and Leadership Development Coach, I serve clients in all fields, including for-profit, nonprofit, healthcare, academia, government, and beyond.

Prior to settling in Athens, Katie and I lived in Charlottesville, Chicago, and the Washington, D.C. area.

I enjoy travel, skiing, and the occasional round of golf. On less active days, I like to read, dabble in the kitchen, and relax with a nice glass of wine.
